How to Measure for Your Corset:
With the help from a friend, Measure over thin clothing. Stand naturally, don't suck in your stomach or puff out your chest.
1. Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest.
2. Under bust: Measure directly where your bra band sits, under the bust.
3. Waist: Measure the narrowest part of your torso.
4. Hips: Measure around the top of your hip bones, about 2-4" below the waist.
5. Waist to Hips: How many inches below the waist to the hips.
6. Center Front Torso Length: Sitting in a chair with a straight back, measure your desired corset front length down to where your thigh meets your torso.
7. Center Back Length: Measure the Back length for your corset.
8. Lacing Spacing: Do you want a narrow lacing space or a wide lacing space.
9. How many desired inches of sinch?

Optional: Corset Mock-up instructions:
For the best and most accurate fit...
You will need: a mirror, a friend, wide masking tape and a marker.
Looking in the mirror, with the help of a friend:

1. With underwear on, Wrap your entire torso in cream colored wide masking tape, all the way around, front and back. Round and Round until your entire torso is covered in masking tape. 
   (Do NOT put masking tape directly on your skin.)
   Start just higher than where you desire your corset to be.
   Go just lower on your hips as you desire your corset length to be.
   Following the curvature of your body:
2. Draw a vertical line down the very center front.
3. Draw a vertical line down the very center back.
4. Draw 2 vertical lines down the back, one on each side of the center line for your desired spacing for the lacing down the back. Do you want a narrow spacing for the ribbon lacing or a wide spacing? The choice is yours.
5. Draw a horizontal line across the top, all the way around, front & back, exactly where you want and the shape you want for the top of your corset.
6. Draw a horizontal line across the bottom, all the way around, front & back, exactly where you want and the shape you want for your corset hem.
7. Draw a horizontal waistline all the way around.
8. Optional: Draw vertical lines for each desired boning location from center front to center back, up to 6 total. (You only need to mark one side/half) If you don't know or you're not specific, we can add these lines for you.
9. Carefully cut the tape down the Center front line.
10. Carefully Remove the marked masking tape in one big piece.
11. Add paper to the sticky side of the tape so it doesn't stick to itself.
12. Include a Note Specifying your specific preferences for your mock-up.
13. Fold and mail to us as soon as possible.
    
    We will create your corset Mock up to your exact size, and send it to you as soon as it is completed. When you receive your mock-up Corset, try it on and notify us right away of any changes that need to be made.
